Service Changes

Long Beach Transit has three annual service changes in February, June and August. Learn about upcoming changes, improvements in service and other announcements below.

LBT’s next service change will go into effect on Sunday, Aug. 24, 2025.Ā 

Upcoming Service Change

Bus Stop Changes

Route 46 – Bus Stop RemovalĀ 

Bus stop #4017 at the southwest corner of Long Beach Blvd. and 5th St. will be removed due to long-term construction. This change will improve safety and increase reliability. Bus stop #4017 is served by westbound Route 46.

Routes 91, 92, 93, 94 – Bus Stop RemovalĀ 

  • Bus stop #1119 at the northwest corner of 7th St. and Dawson Ave. will be removed due to safety and operational concerns, including limited space for buses to stop and frequent vehicle parking in the bus zone. This change will improve safety and increase reliability. Bus stop #1119 is served by westbound Routes 91, 92, 93, 94.

  • Bus stop #1008 at the southeast corner of 7th St. and Dawson Ave. will be removed due to safety and operational concerns, including limited space for buses to stop and frequent vehicle parking in the bus zone. This change will improve safety and increase reliability. Bus stop #1008 is served by eastbound Routes 91, 92, 93, 94.

Routes 91, 92, 93, 94 – Bus Stop RemovalĀ 

Bus stop #1055 at the northeast corner of Bellflower Blvd. and Cedar St. will be removed due to safety and operational challenges, including a reduced curb length of 64 feet, which limits the ability to safely board and exit passengers. This change will improve safety and increase reliability. Bus stop #1055 is served by eastbound Route 91.

School Trippers

School trippers will return at peak student travel times to existing routes. These services are subject to change based on resource availability during peak student riding times.Ā Ā

Minor Schedule Changes

Routes with minor schedule adjustments: 21, 23, 91, 104, 121, 141, and 405Ā

Routes that continue to be paused:
Routes 52, 81, 96, 176.

Additionally, the Transit & Visitor Information Center downtown,Ā  remain open on Monday–Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and weekends from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
